Who am I

Fine Artist and Animal Portraitist
My Background: Born in Belgium, I started my creative journey by participating in various multidisciplinary art workshops. I then pursued secondary studies in visual arts. To further refine my skills, I later enrolled in painting and drawing courses at the Academy.
Passionate about dogs, I began creating animal portraits in dry pastel in January 2020. My goal is two-fold: to make each drawing more beautiful and realistic than the original photo, and to bring joy to those who commission a portrait from me.
When I draw, I feel a deep sense of satisfaction. It empowers me, boosts my self-confidence, and helps ease my anxieties. What began as a simple hobby has turned into a true passion, one to which I want to dedicate myself fully.
However, life is not always easy. I recently lost an eye, which has made drawing a bit more challenging. Yet, despite this trial, I remain committed to my goal: making a living from my passion.
Art has become my purpose and my therapy. It allows me to heal from past wounds, largely caused by society. Through drawing, I can set my worries aside, showcase my talent, and bring emotion to those who appreciate my work.
I am aware that the road to achieving this will likely take time. But I am determined and will never give up. I know I have the talent and the passion needed to succeed.
I am certain that I will make it. With hard work, perseverance, and support, I know I can make my dream a reality
